Your help please ... the peal sounds the first five notes of a major scale, but I can only find one tune in the hymn book that can be played. That is "Now the day is over" and not very suitable for morning services! On All Saints Day we can play "Oh when the saints go marching in", though it's hardly a hymn. Can you think of any hymn tunes we can play with the first five notes of a major scale?
Below is a picture of the belfry before it was cleaned and the pigeons confined to the outside of the tower.
